El Toro Contento is the only authentic Spanish tapas bar on the Island. Opened in December 2006, we guarantee you’ll receive a warm welcome from Lorraine, Serafin, Alfonsa, Nell and Ekiñe, and having tried our delicious homemade food we’re sure you’ll be tempted to come again another day.
Apart from our range of small portions of food called “tapas”, we can offer you Serrano ham, an impressive selection of Spanish cheeses and sausages, Spanish wines, beers, cider and liqueurs.
Paella is freshly made to order, by us, just as it is in Spain, so if you fancy a REAL paella, please make sure you book at least one day in advance!
You can dine in our wonderful candlelit “dungeon of delights”, or squeeze into the tiny ground level bar and watch the world go by or chat to the staff...feel free to practice your Spanish! |
